Alan Chan, Oral Health Therapist

Alan graduated with a Bachelor of Applied Science (Oral Health) from the university of Queensland, Brisbane in 2007. He is an Oral Health Therapist and works with our dentists to promote the idea that “prevention in dentistry is better than intervention”. He feels that health is life and provides quality dental services to the community to ensure everyone has great oral health.

He started his dental career in Rockhampton, where he worked for Queensland Health in the school dental vans for 2 years. He has a passion for dentistry especially children’s dentistry, but also has an interest in periodontal and gum disease treatment.

Outside of work, Alan is a qualified personal trainer who loves to play sports and is a dedicated team member of SmileBright Dental.
